What's up with Carmelo? He's an amazingly talented player but he clearly needs to work on his attitude. One thing I've learned is that a positive, collaborative attitude can take you far. Martial arts training would do Melo good: Nothing instills humility like getting your butt kicked by a diminutive sensei every day.

I guess Melo's attitude problems are kind of understandable. Sometimes you can take a player off the street but you can't take the street out of the player. Melo should have finished up at Syracuse. If nothing else, he might have matured and developed some of those all-important intangible skills.
