I sure am proud to be an American
Things just feel better since Obama took the oath. He's such a nerd, even though he did play basketball.
It's nice to have a president who knows how to speak our language and -- most importantly -- who cares about us. That was the feeling I always had about Bush: He just didn't care about common people. How could he? As a child of privilege who had everything handed to him on a silver platter, it would be impossible for him to understand what it's like to have to work for what you get.
Anyway, that a dorky, skinny, biracial guy like Obama can make it into the White House says a lot of good things about our country. I really feel like things are beginning to turn around already.
And this first family is the best looking first family since the Kennedys. There's a lot of love there. It's nice to have the White House full of love! I don't know if that's been the case since the Carters. I guess Ron and Nancy loved each other, but they didn't have cute kids.
We can't blame our leaders any longer. We have a good great leader. It's up to us Americans to rebuild our country and make it the greatest damn country in the world again. We'll make it better than it's ever been!
I'm so jazzed!
